Date Sold 5/28/2020Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Production Soundstage/set Sign (measures 6" x 16" [15 x 41 cm]) (Learn More) Staying Alive, the 1983 Sylvester Stallone action dance "sequel" to "Saturday Night Fever" melodrama ("Tony Manero knows the old days are over- But nobody's gonna tell him he can't feel that good again."; written by Stallone and Norman Wexler; "Based on characters created by Nick Cohn"; "featuring songs by the Bee Gees") starring John Travolta (who, under guidance from Stallone, lost whatever fat he had and became exceedingly fit), Cynthia Rhodes, Finola Hughes (best known for her role as Anna Devane on TV's "General Hospital"!), Steve Inwood, and Kurtwood Smith NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is something really cool, that you never see! When movies are being filmed, the studio puts up signs all over the set (on a heavy stock, similar to window cards, which can't be rolled) and sound stages that warn people that the movie named on the sign is "now filming", so that people don't inadvertently walk on the set and ruin a "take"! We have never previously auctioned any of these, but now we have been consigned eight different ones, and we are auctioning them in eight separate auctions. These certainly would look great on anyone's bedroom door, or many other possible display areas! Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
