eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 9r042 CLINT EASTWOOD signed copy script 1990s on the cover of the screenplay for Dirty Harry! Date Sold 9/27/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Autographed Movie Copy Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]) (Learn More) Clint Eastwood is an actor and director from the 1950s to the present. Initially well-known for his gritty roles, his rugged looks, and famous movie quotes such as "Go ahead, make my day", he has also become a very well-regarded director. Some of his movies include: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Unforgiven (which won the Best Picture Academy Award, and for which he won the Best Director Academy Award AND was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, Dirty Harry, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Where Eagles Dare, In the Line of Fire, High Plains Drifter, Mystic River (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Million Dollar Baby (for which he won the Best Director Academy Award, and was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), Letters From Iwo Jima (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and many more. As of 2023, he is still alive at the age of 93! Important Added Info: Note that this copy script has been personally autographed (signed) by Clint Eastwood! What is a "copy script"? This means that it is a copy of the original script (likely created by a store, which would acquire original scripts and then make exact copies of all the pages and then reassemble them). There was a store in Hollywood called "Script City", which sold lots of these, and there were several other sources for these as well. This is NOT an original script! However, it is exactly like the original one, and certainly can be read and enjoyed, and it will surely cost a fraction of the price of an original script (and likely under the prices that stores have sold these copy scripts for). Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia collector and dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity (unless noted above). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
