Starting sometime in the late 1970s, both the National Screen Service and the movie studios would sometimes print posters for the same film. Both posters would have the same images and art but the studio-printed posters would lack the NSS identification information normally found at the bottom of posters printed by the National Screen Service. The poster offered here was printed by 20th Century-Fox, and while it does not have NSS information, it is 100% original! Note that this poster was linenbacked and restored by the "Backing to the Future" company, which provided a 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" certificate stating that the restoration was performed by them in March of 2016. This is the first time we have seen a certificate like this, but we hope that many restorers will consider doing the same, because that lets the buyer know both which company did the restoration, and they can also ask them questions about the specific poster (and in this case, the poster is numbered, so that they know exactly which poster it was, in case they restored more than one example of it).
