5y532 EDDIE RICKENBACKER signed 7x11 autograph page '36 to the King of the Autograph Collectors!

An Autographed 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" [17 x 27 cm] Autograph Page (Learn More)

Eddie Rickenbacker was a pilot from the 1910s to the 1960s. He is best remembered as the most successful combat aviation airplane fighter ace during World War I (WWI), having over 26 verified aerial combat victories, and is the recipient of several military medals, including the Medal of Honor! He passed away in 1973 at the age of 82.
Important Added Info: This item (which was made by taking a sheet with a signed and dated inscription from Rickenbacker, and attaching it to a sheet with a picture of him) has been personally autographed (signed) by Eddie Rickenbacker! See our image of the two pages as they are attached. On the reverse of the page with Rickenbacker's photo is "Autogramme Band 11", because this was owned by a man who had many such autographs, and he created these little "programs" as a way to preserve them.

Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity.

Condition: good to very good.
