An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded English Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures approximately 41" x 85") (Learn More)

Delilah, the 1921 Fred Paul English silent mystery melodrama ("British Screen Grand Guignol Series"; "One Act Film Drama"; "No Connection With The Little Theatre, London"). Note that we can find very little information about this film, except that it was part of the "Grand Guigno series" of almost 30 shorts, all directed by Fred Paul. This poster is numbered "6", indicating that it was the 6th film in the series. The series took it's name from an infamous Paris theater that specialized in horror stage plays.
Artist: Dick Baker
Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this English movie! This English three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Note that the two sections of the poster are EXTREMELY fragile, and they were only partially folded, to the point where the folded poster now measures roughly 22" x 28". We will not attempt to re-fold the poster completely, because it is far too fragile for that, and instead will send the poster in a large flat package that measures approximately 24" x 30". This package will cost more to send, so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept the added shipping cost!

Condition: good. The poster is very fragile, and someone put white conservation tape on the back of most of the foldlines. There are many small areas of paper loss on many foldlines and in parts of the blank borders. The poster absolutely needs to be professionally linenbacked, but once it is, it will look great, and it will only have a relatively small amount of paint restoration in the image.
