An Original Vintage Hardcover Theater Exhibitor's Date Book (measures 4 1/4" x 6 1/4"; 111 pages) (Learn More)

Paramount 1931-32, the 1931 exhibitor's date book containing calendars and date logs. They would send these date books to all their exhibitors, with the hopes they would use them regularly to list the movies they played, and that it would remind them to continue to book Paramount movies. Note that this date book has no images inside at all, just the Paramount logo on the title page. Often, date books would have condensed versions of studio yearbooks, but this one does not.
Important Added Info: Someone used this date book quite a bit, not for every week, but for lots of weeks, where they wrote down the movies they showed. They also filled in the "price" and "receipts" columns, and the total for the week, and it is really fascinating to review those figures, not only to see what they paid and what they took in, but how some movies did way better than others (for example, in the week of February 7 to 13, most of the days they took in between $25 and $45, but on the day they played "The Mummy", they took in $76.50, and on the day they played "The King of Jazz", they took in $103.05

Condition: very good. Much of the date book was used (see above), but we consider that a really cool "plus" that adds to the book!
