Zanucks Brigham Young, the 1940 Henry Hathaway historical Mormon religious biographical western adventure melodrama ("The great American motion picture!"; a highly fictionalized account of the founders of Mormonism and their travel to and settling in Salt Lake City, Utah) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Linda Darnell, Dean Jagger (in the title role "as Brigham Young"), Brian Donlevy, John Carradine, Mary Astor, Vincent Price (as Joseph Smith), Jean Rogers, Ann E. Todd, Dickie Jones, Tully Marshall, Jane Darwell, and Fuzzy Knight NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good to fine. The poster had tiny holes at the crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. It was very expertly linenbacked and looks quite nice! Learn More about condition grades
