An Original Vintage Theatrical Italian Movie Poster (measures 13 1/2" x 19 1/2" [34 x 50 cm]) (Learn More)

Debra Paget is an actress from the 1940s to the 1960s. She appeared opposite Elvis Presley in his first movie, Love Me Tender, and she had one of the sexiest on screen scenes ever in The Indian Tomb, where her "snake dance" must be seen to be believed (it is on YouTube). In 1963, she let Hollywood after marrying an oil executive. She had a child with him and they divorced in 1980, and she became a born again Christian, hosting a show on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Some of her other movies include: The Ten Commandments (as Lilia), Broken Arrow, and It Happens Every Spring. As of 2020, she is still alive at the age of 86!
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this portrait is undated and is printed on a high quality fairly heavyweight paper stock (similar to that used for deluxe photos), and has "ZINCOGRAFICA ROTOCALCO FIORENTINA" printed in the bottom right corner. It is one of ten similar portraits we were consigned, and each has a 20th Century-Fox logo at bottom right, but no other writing except for the name of the star. They are undated, but based on the stars pictured, would seem to surely date around 1951 or 1952. We have never seen or heard of even one of these portraits before we were consigned these (except for a duplicate of the Richard Widmark one that our consignor had), and neither has our consignor, who sent them from Italy! They are probably some special set of portraits that 20th Century-Fox created at that time, and if anyone else has seen even one of them, please let us know!

Condition: fine. The portrait is in quite nice condition!
