An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Adventurous Blonde, the 1937 Frank McDonald detective reporter mystery comedy (the third in a series of nine movies with Glenda Farrell as Torchy Blane) starring Glenda Farrell (in the title role as Torchy Blane), Barton MacLane, Anne Nagel, Tom Kennedy, and Natalie Moorhead. Note that the first Torchy Blane movie was made in 1937, called "Smart Blonde", and it starred Glenda Farrell in the lead role. There were a total of nine Torchy Blane movies. Farrell played the lead in seven of them. In two of the ones near the end of the series, Jane Wyman and Lola Lane filled in for Farrell, perhaps because she had other commitments.
