If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny bits of paper loss on both horizontal folds. It had a 4" tear in the let border near the middle of the poster, with tiny circular paper loss near the top of John Wayne's pants, and small tears and tiny circular paper loss in his belt and the bottom of his shirt, with a tear in the right of his shirt, entering Russell's arm. There was a 6" tear in the upper left border, entering Wayne's ear, where there was small paper loss. There were some pinholes and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
