However, you can buy the auction catalog it appears in using the "Order" button above. An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Clarence E. Mulford's Three Men from Texas, the 1940 Lesley Selander cowboy western ("Based on characters created by Clarence E. Mulford") starring William Boyd (as Hopalong Cassidy), Russell Hayden, Andy Clyde, Esther Estrella, Morris Ankrum, Morgan Wallace, Thornton Edwards, and Dick Curtis NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. The poster had an irregular 1 1/2" x 1" area of paper loss at the top crossfold and a dime-sized hole 3" to the left of the top crossfold. There were many creases, small tears, and tiny holes across the rest of the top foldline. There were creases, tears, and some tiny holes in the middle foldline. There was a dime-sized area of paper loss at the bottom crossfold and several crease lines across the bottom fold. There was a 1 1/2" x 1/2" area of paper loss at the left end of the top foldline and a 1" x 3/4" area of paper loss at the right end of the top foldline. There were many creases, tears, and some areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster had lots of significant defects, and reasonable restoration, so the poster displays fairly well. But if I owned the poster, I would have it re-backed and re-restored. It is just a question of how much seeing signs of restoration on a poster bothers you. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
