An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Secrets of An Actress, the 1938 William Keighley New York City Broadway stage theater acting romantic love triangle melodrama (a complicated story of a struggling actress who owns the rights to a play, and she finds an architect to help produce it and design the sets, but there are many romantic and professional complications, before the happy ending) starring Kay Francis, George Brent, Ian Hunter, Gloria Dickson, and Isabel Jeans

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1940 movie posters from this movie are quite rare. We have only previously auctioned two one-sheets (and no other posters, only lobby cards and stills) from this movie until we received this half-sheet, which has a better image than the one-sheet! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time. It could be re-folded and sent in a small flat package, but we think it would be better if it to be sent in a large flat package, but we will leave it up to the buyer to decide if they want it re-folded or sent in a large flat package.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. linen posters of this period. It has paper loss in the top left corner, but only blank paper is affected. It has pinholes around the edges, with a 1/2" tear in the left border. It has tiny paper loss at the crossfold and some creases and a tiny bit of paper loss on the folds. It has darkening in the right edge of the right blank border (see our image).
