It's a spectacle light years ahead of its time from 20th Century Fox."; "Written and Directed by George Lucas"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Peter Cushing (as Grand Moff Tarkin), Alec Guinness (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Obi-Wan Kenobi), Anthony Daniels (as C-3PO), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), David Prowse (billed as "Dave Prowse"; as the man inside the Darth Vader suit!), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), and Phil Brown (as Uncle Owen)

Important Added Info: Note that this is a special die-cut standee, which we have never auction before, that was sent to record stores in 1977 to help them sell the soundtrack albums from the then unknown Star Wars movie! There was a similar mobile that had the same image on the front, but a different image on the back, and that was likely hung from the ceiling of the record stores, while this cool standee would have sat on the counter. It has a fold-out section at the bottom with tabs that fit into the main section to create a compartment, where there were surely flyers or brochures about the soundtrack album. We have provided an image of each side to show the standee backing, which was never used. Note that this standee will need to be sent in a box that measures approximately 14" x 18" x 4" high (to keep the standee from getting crushed), so please bear the shipping costs of this package in mind BEFORE you place a bid!

Condition: very good. There are a few minor creases and scuffs scattered in the image and there is tiny surface paper loss on the tabs from when the standee was assembled. But the standee was never actually used (the backing was never bent) and overall, it is in pretty nice condition!
