Note that Astor Pictures, which had been known for mostly re-releasing classic U.S. movies in the 1940s and 1950s, acquired the rights for the first American release of this classic Italian movie, which they released on April 19, 1961. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Egyptian three-sheet, and it has a completely different image from ANY poster for this movie we have ever seen for any country (and we have not seen an Egyptian one-sheet, although we would imagine they made one of those as well)! Note that the poster has an artist's signature on it, but we cannot read it. If anyone knows the name of this artist, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this Egyptian three-sheet measures 39 1/4" x 78 1/4" [100 x 199 cm], and it was printed in 3 sections designed to overlap. Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has small faint brown water stains at the left and right crossfold of the top section. It has small paper loss in Ekberg's shoulder at lower right, and tiny paper loss in her cheek. There is tiny paper loss by the side of her nose and in her forehead. There are some extra creases near to many of the folds, with some faint smudges scattered throughout the poster. After a pretty simple linenbacking, the poster will display wonderfully! Learn More about condition grades
