A 1950 Re-Release Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Jeepers Creepers, the 1939 Frank McDonald singing cowboy western starring The Weaver Brothers & Elviry (Leon Weaver, Frank Weaver, and June "Elviry" Weaver), Roy Rogers, Johnny Arthur, and Billy Lee. Note that this was Roy Rogers' 10th credited role, and he had had starring roles in several westerns the year before (including Under Western Stars and The Arizona Kid), but at the time the advertising for this movie was prepared, he was still so little regarded by Republic Pictures that he was not billed on the posters or lobby cards, and in fact received 5th billing! A similar situation occurred the following year with "The Dark Command", where Rogers received very low billing. But it wasn't long before he would be Republic's biggest cowboy star, and he received prominent star billing on every movie he made! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There are tiny tears, tiny bits of paper loss, and much surface paper loss down the right of the card, caused by rough removal of tape, but it mostly only affects the blank border. There is pencil writing at top center. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Learn More about condition grades
