A 1927 Re-Release Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Sunnyside, the 1919 Charles Chaplin multiple reel silent comedy short ("His Third Million Dollar Comedy"; "I'll never leave my dear old farm") starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin), Edna Purviance, Tom Wilson (a large white man who specialized in playing black roles in the early silent days when studios were reluctant to hire African Americans; he would put burnt cork on his face and skin!; he appeared in The Kid, but not in a black role), Tom Terriss, Henry Bergman, Loyal Underwood, and Tom Wood (nicknamed "Fatty")

Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].

Note that this is one of an incredibly collection of 24 Charlie Chaplin 8x10 lobby cards and 8x10 stills that was recently discovered. Each of them is being offered in a separate auction. These 8x10 lobby cards and stills have always been incredibly rare (both the first release ones and the 1920s re-release ones). In all our years of auctioning, we have only previously auctioned a handful of these. But in this set of auctions, there are 24 different ones (many with spectacular images of Chaplin from his best movies), and all of them will have new owners when the auctions conclude, because these all start at $1 with no reserve!

Condition: very good to fine. The still is in excellent condition!
