An Undated (Circa 1960s) Art Print (measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Buster Keaton ("The Great Stone Face") was an actor from the 1900s to the 1960s. He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70. Artist: Bill Bates Important Added Info: Note that this art print (printed on a fairly heavy paper stock) is by artist Bill Bates, and it is one of several that he did of classic silent and sound comedians. We researched them and they appear to be from the 1960s, but we are not certain. We were consigned five different prints and we are offering them in five separate auctions. Condition: very good.
