If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Condition: good. Someone sent this poster to a restorer to have it paperbacked, and the restorer mounted it, but did nothing more, because the owner of the poster never paid for the restoration!. The poster has been professionally mounted on to a paper backing, but no restoration whatsoever has been done, although any restorer could perform the restoration from this point. The poster had many horizontal creases (caused by the poster being roughly handled while rolled), with some other creases and tiny dots of surface paper loss scattered through the image. There was small paper loss in the center of Olivier's head and three tiny areas in his cheek and forehead. Please do not bid on this poster unless you have read the above carefully and have studied our super-sized image, and can accept the poster as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored! This poster was paperbacked, and it had significant defects which were only somewhat repaired during the paperbacking process, or were not repaired at all (we describe both the defects as well as the quality of the restoration above, and based on those comments, you can easily determine which type of poster it is). You should also look at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about paperbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).
