The dreaded Daleks... Robots with a super-human brain have come to destroy!!!"; "From the original BBC TV serial by Terry Nation"; based on the "Doctor Who" English TV series) starring Peter Cushing (in the title role as Dr. Who), Roy Castle, Jennie Linden, Roberta Tovey, and Barrie Ingham. Note that this film was based on the classic TV show, but changed several aspects (such as the title character being a human scientist in this film, and an alien in the series). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bill Wiggins Important Added Info: Note that ANY first release 1965 English movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a few front of house lobby cards and a trade ad from the first English release of this movie until we received this British quad, which which is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie! There is a two-color 1960s re-release English one-sheet that itself sells for hundreds of dollars, just because first release English paper is impossible to find, but when this auction is over, one lucky collector will own this ultra rare full-color first release British quad! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has some partial extra creases by the bottom of the right vertical fold, with a partial extra horizontal fold 1/2" below the regular top and bottom horizontal folds. There are tiny tears at the right end of the bottom border. Other than the above, the poster is in really nice condition, with fresh bright colors, and it will look incredible on the new owner's wall! Learn More about condition grades
