Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this first release English double crown, which is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie, and that example sold for $1,950 in "good" condition! Note that both this poster and the previous example we sold did not measure exactly 20 inches wide, but very slightly under that, and it had a very slight unevenness to the right blank border (and it was clearly cut by hand in that area). Since both posters have this exact same defect, and they are definitely not the same poster, we think the only possible explanation is that these posters were printed two at a time (two of them on a single 30" X 40" sheet), and then they were cut in half, and surely by hand, which would account for the unevenness on one border only. It is therefore extremely likely that all examples of this poster would be like this, but with some on the left border and some on the right, but we have only seen the two examples. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has unevenness to the right border and measures very slightly under 20 inches wide (see a detailed explanation for why we think this is above). It also has a small circular stamp in the lower left white background area. It has pinholes in the corners and in the center of each border.
