An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock is perhaps the most famous English director of all-time, directing many groundbreaking and classic movies from 1921 to 1976. He would often appear briefly in his own movies as a gag. Some of his movies include: Rear Window (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), North By Northwest, Psycho (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Vertigo, Strangers on a Train, Notorious, Rebecca (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Shadow of a Doubt, The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, The Birds, Dial M for Murder, Lifeboat (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Spellbound, The Man Who Knew Too Much (he made this one TWICE!), The Trouble with Harry, and many, many more! He passed away in 1980 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that the still is glued to a linen-like backing (we think it is highly likely this was a key book still, and that someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the top of the still, no doubt so it could be put in a frame). Condition: good to very good. The top 1" was neatly trimmed off. There is a tiny faint pen mark in the left of Hitchcock's face. There is an odd unevenness to the emulsion of the still, but it is truly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. Other than the above, the still is in pretty nice condition!
