Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: Note that we have seen U.S. posters where there is a large black snipe glued over the word "IS" between "SEAN CONNERY" and "JAMES BOND" (it says "est" on this French poster, and on that, there is a piece of black tape over that word). A James Bond expert tells us that Connery was fighting to have "Sean Connery is James Bond" replaced with "Sean Connery as James Bond", and the posters were sniped to remove the printed "is". We have also seen examples of this poster without the snipe, so those likely were distributed before the snipes could be put on. For his next Bond film, "Diamonds Are Forever", Connery got his wish and all posters were printed with "as". Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
