An Original Vintage Unfolded Political Campaign Poster (measures 13 3/4" x 21 3/4" [35 x 55 cm]) (Learn More) George Wallace was an American politician from the 1960s to the 1980s. He was a judge in Alabama known as "Alabama's Fighting Judge", and in 1963, he was elected the 45th governor of Alabama and served two non-consecutive terms and two consecutive terms and ran for President in 1968. He is probably most known for his Southern populist and segregationist attitudes during the desegregation period and for surviving a 1972 assassination attempt which left him paralyzed and in a wheelchair for the remainder of his life. Wallace passed away in 1998 at the age of 79. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is printed on a heavy window card-like stock, and it is guaranteed authentic from when the poster was first created in 1968 (it is not dated, but we know this is from this 1968 campaign, because of the slogan on the card; see above).
