An Original 1977 (re-titled "Space Wars"; from the first release of this movie in Japan) Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2") (Learn More) Flesh Gordon (released in Japan as "Space Wars"), the 1974 Howard Ziehm & Michael Benveniste science fiction (sci-fi) sexploitation comedy spoof ("An outrageous parody of yesterdays' super heros [sic]!"; "An outrageous parody of yesteryears' super heroes!"; "Not to be confused with the original Flash Gordon";) starring Jason Williams (in the title role as "Flesh Gordon"), Cindy Hopkins (billed as "Suzanne Fields"; as "Dale Ardor"), John Hoyt (as "Prof. Gordon"), Joseph Hudgins, William Dennis Hunt, and Candy Samples NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Seito Important Added Info: Note that this very sexy sci-fi spoof did not play in Japan until three years after its original release, by which point "Star Wars" had been released, and since the Japanese distributor wisely recognized that millions more Japanese moviegoers would be attracted by a sexy spoof of "Star Wars" than of "Flash Gordon", they used blatant false advertising to re-title the movie "Space Wars", and pretend that it was a parody of "Star Wars"! Also note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube.
