If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds, with tiny creases scattered in the vertical foldline, with a lesser amount of wear on the horizontal fold. There was a foreign stamp in the top left corner and some pinholes and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster). Note that at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are now some minor creases in the bottom 8" of the left border (in both the excess linen and very slightly in the blank border of the poster). This would diminish greatly if the poster were put under weight, and it would not show at all if the poster was framed. Learn More about condition grades
