Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: Note that we have never had this poster before. We have only ever seen it offered once before, and that was ten years ago at an auction, and that example had a great deal of restoration, including all of the yellow background! This example had the bottom 8" of credits recreated, but the rest of the poster has FAR less restoration than the only other example we are aware of. Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had its bottom 8" neatly trimmed off (it falls at the very top of the red credits box, so everything under that was missing, but the entire image was unaffected). There were also tears and small paper loss around the edges, with slightly greater paper loss in the lower left border, but all of it only affected the white and yellow borders. There were water stains scattered around the edges, extending into the green background and the top of the cat's head. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was given to a really top restorer who replaced the missing bottom 8" and paperbacked it onto a thin paper backing, and carefully and expertly restored the missing area described above (using a super high quality image so that all the lettering could be exactly duplicated) and expertly touched up the water stains and border areas of paper loss described above. The restorer did NOT paint over the undamaged areas of the poster, so you can see slight signs of defects within the image, but in every way, this poster looks and feels like an unrestored 40x60, and I know most people could not pick out the restoration that has been done, and the poster will display wonderfully on anyone's wall!
