An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Good Old Days, the 1944 Hollywood movie compilation ("A 2 1/2 hour journey into the romance and gayety of yesterday") featuring clips of classic cinema moments from before 1944 including "Dempsey vs Willard", "The Great Train Robbery", "Every Inch a Man", "The Good Old Songs", "Springtime Saps", and "Ten Nights in a Barroom" and this poster also features screen greats such as Rudolph Valentino, Clara Bow, Marie Dressler (born in 1868, she was on Broadway in her 20s and in 1914, starred in "Tillie's Punctured Romance" over a very young Charlie Chaplin; but her career wained and she quit films a few years later returning to Broadway, and by the late 1920s, her career seemed over; but legendary producer Irving Thalberg cast her in "Anna Christie" in 1930, and she rapidly became a major star, in spite of her advanced age and plain face; she received the Best Actress Oscar for "Min and Bill" in 1930, and is probably best remembered for her role in "Dinner at Eight"; sadly, she died of cancer in 1934), Snub Pollard, William S. Hart, Lon Chaney Sr, Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin, and Shirley Temple

Condition: very good. There was pencil writing in the top blank border and it was partially erased. Otherwise, this lobby card is in pretty nice condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
