Date Sold 8/31/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 2 Marx Toys wind-up tin toy race cars. Note that we don't know exactly when these are from but they seem to surely be from the 1950s or earlier. They absolutely are vintage originals and not any sort of reproduction. We have seen them on eBay selling for $100 each or more. Each has an emblem on the back that says "Made in United States of America" and "Marx Toys" in the center of it. Both cars have a little plastic man that "sits" on top of the racer and a key that is attached that allows you to wind up the car. Both are in working condition (they can be wound up and played with!). One of the little men sits firmly on the car, and the other one does not. We would think that the little men would get lost quite frequently and that it would be much harder to find the car with the little men. Measurements: 3" x 5 1/2" x 16"Condition: very good to fine. Both cars have some minor wear. One of the little men does not sit firmly on the car. Overall, both seem to be in pretty nice condition (see our images).
