Date Sold 3/2/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 274 German cigarette cards contained in an album from the 1930s (it has "ALBUM A" on the cover, and it is one of many different similar albums that were created at this time). The album contains many pages designed to have the cigarette cards glued onto the empty spots (some pages seven and some pages eight, and a very few six) and the album is entirely filled. There are glassine sheets between many of the pages and there are four cool 9" x 11" pages showing scenes from movies! The person who owned this album likely purchased it empty and then added the cigarette cards, or it is possible that it was sold with the cards in it. All of the cards are glued in firmly, but certainly could be removed by a talented amateur or a professional, or of course, they could be left exactly as they are. Condition: very good. There are stains on the covers and there are creases, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges of the covers, but the interior pages are in pretty nice condition and the cards themselves are mostly in really nice condition (although they are of course all glued in).
