An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded German "A0" Festival Poster (33x47; measures 33" x 47 1/4" [84 x 120 cm]) (Learn More) Grosses Fest Der Juryfreien (literally translates to "Great Jury-Free Festival"), the 1934 German poster promoting a festival to take place from January 27th to February 12th at the Schwabinger Brewery in Munich, Germany. Note that this poster features art by Georg Hans Muller-Rehm of a clown-like man riding a horse-like animal (perhaps it is a donkey or a cow). If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Artist: Georg Hans Muller-Rehm Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that same poster has been reconsigned for this auction! Note also that this German A0 poster measures 33" x 47 1/4" [84 x 120 cm]. Note that this poster must be sent in a tube that is over 32" long (which is why it is in this set of auctions). You can tell how long the tube will need to be by adding 2 inches to the shorter dimension of the length or width (so 40x60s need to be sent in a 42 inch long tube, etc). Most of these posters (with the notable exception of paper banners) CAN be combined in the same tube together, with a few exceptions. Bear in mind that a very long tube (42 inches or longer) will cost a lot more to send than a 30" tube, so bear that in mind before bidding on this poster. Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has darkening around the edges, with two tiny areas of paper loss in the left blank border. Someone put some tape on the back of the entire right border where there had been a few small tears, and that tape has bled through to the front, but only in the blank border. But overall, the poster has survived in pretty nice condition, and its defects are primarily in the blank borders. Learn More about condition grades
