An Autographed Letter (measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/4" [14 x 18 cm]) (Learn More)

Jane Wyatt was an actress from the 1930s to the 1990s. She was the daughter of a wealthy family who started appearing in movies, and she had some memorable roles, including a leading one in 1937's "Lost Horizon". But she did not have nearly the career she might have had. She is best remembered for her classic role as the mother on TV's "Father Knows Best". In 1967, she played Spock's mother in the original Star Trek TV series, and she repeated that role several times. Some of her other movies include: Boomerang!, and Gentleman's Agreement. Wyatt passed away in 2006 at the age of 96.
Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Jane Wyatt! It is a note from Jane Wyatt to photographer Scotty Welbourne, thanking him and saying "I am crazy about the pictures!". It was in Mr. Welbourne's personal scrapbook!

Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity.

Condition: good to very good. The letter was glued to Mr. Welbourne's scrapbook, and there is some surface paper loss and paper residue on the back of the top of the letter.
