3 Original Vintage Theatrical German 9 1/4" x 12" [23 x 30 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

Es war einmal ein Walzer (released in English-speaking countries as "Once There Was a Waltz"), the 1932 Victor Janson romantic musical comedy (written by Billy Wilder) starring Martha Eggerth, Rolf von Goth, Paul Horbiger, Erno Verebes, and Albert Paulig. Note that this was a movie that was filmed simultaneously in both English and German, and star Martha Eggerth was in both movies, but otherwise, the cast and directors were different for both (but both movies were of course based on the same Billy Wilder story). The English language version was called "Where Is This Lady?" and was also released in 1932. AND Heiratsfieber (literally translates to "Marriage Fever"), the 1928 Rudolf Walther-Fein Austrian/German romantic wedding comedy starring Hans Junkermann, Fritz Kampers, Maria Paudler, Vivian Gibson, and Franz Kammauf. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that these German stills measure 9 1/4" x 12" [23 x 30 cm], and are country of origin stills for these German movies. The two stills in the left of our image are from "Once There Was a Waltz" and the still on the right of our image is from "Heiratsfieber". Normally we don't auction non-U.S. stills in this set of auctions, but this set is from a consignor who only has this one item left and they wanted us to sell it now, so we have included it!

Condition: good to very good. The stills have border defects and some pinholes around the edges, with a few smudges and scuffs within the images. The still in the bottom left our image has a pinhole in the lower left of the image and a tiny tear in the forehead of the man.
