An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Cowboy and The Lady, the 1922 Charles Maigne silent western dude ranch romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the play by -- Clyde Fitch"; a complicated story of a woman who runs a ranch and has a husband who cheats on her, and she falls for a cowboy who shows up) starring Mary Miles Minter, Tom Moore, Viora Daniel, Patricia Palmer, Robert Schable, and Guy Oliver. Note that this movie was made AFTER William Desmond Taylor (the 49 year-old director who was having an affair with the 19 year-old Minter) was killed, supposedly by either Minter or her mother. Soon after this movie was made, Minter retired from movies! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Condition: very good. The card had some tiny staple holes around the edges, and paper clip stains in the top corners. Someone performed slight restoration to these areas without backing the card. There was tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner, and a 1/2" tear in the lower left blank border, and the same person put a small piece of tape on the back of those areas.
