An Original Vintage Bound Volume of Pressbooks (contains 43 pressbooks; measures 2 1/2" x 13" x 15 3/4") (Learn More)

Paramount Press Sheets Releases Season 1941 - 42 Group A1, the 1942 press book containing individual press sheets bound in one volume, including press sheets for the following Paramount releases: Hold Back the Dawn, Buy Me That Town, Nothing But The Truth, Henry Aldrich for President, New York Town, Birth of the Blues, Skylark, The Night of January 16th, Glamour Boy, Among the Living, Bahama Passage, Pacific Blackout, Sullivan's Travels, No Hands on the Clock, Mr. Bug Goes to Town, Torpedo Boat, The Lady Has Plans, The Fleet's In, The Remarkable Andrew, Fly by Night, My Favorite Blonde, True to the Army, The Great Man's Lady, Henry and Dizzy, This Gun for Hire, Take a Letter, Darling, Night in New Orleans, Sweater Girl, Beyond the Blue Horizon, Dr. Broadway, Are Husband's Necessary?, Tombstone, I Live on Danger, Louisiana Purchase, Holiday Inn, Reap the Wild Wind, The Beachcomber, The General Died at Dawn, Secret of the Wastelands, Outlaws of the Desert, Riders of the Timberline, Stick To Your Guns, and Twilight on the Trail
Important Added Info: Note that this incredible bound volume contains pressbooks from all of the 43 movies that Paramount released between September 26, 1941 and August 28, 1942! There is a printed title page that gives the release date of all the pressbooks (in order), but the pressbooks are bound in alphabetical order. Note that Paramount at this time made some of their pressbooks with a vertical format and some with a horizontal format. Because the person who did the binding wanted the pressbooks to all be oriented the same, they bound in the horizontal format pressbooks horizontally, which meant that part of those pressbooks extended past the right edge of the binding, and they folded over the right 3" of those pressbooks (see our images). Fortunately, two of Paramount's very best movies ever were released during this time, This Gun for Hire, and Sullivan's Travels, and both of those pressbooks are included in this bound volume!

Condition: very good, NO CUTS. Some of the pressbooks have some wear around the edges, and the horizontal format pressbooks have the right 3" folded over (see above for why). But generally, the pressbooks are in pretty nice condition (except of course, they are sewn into the binding, so bear that in mind before placing a bid on this bound volume).
