Original Vintage Used Unfolded Special Poster (measures 29 1/2" x 46 1/2") (Learn More) Spider-Man, the 1985 poster created by Cannon to promote their comic book superhero movie. Apparently, the full (and wild) story of the Cannon Spider-Man can be found in the 2014 documentary "Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films". We have not seen that film but apparently Cannon acquired the rights to Spider-Man from Marvel in the mid-1980s, and started an advertising campaign (including posters and a teaser trailer) to promote the film before they even had cast, crew or completed script. However, due to financial and other difficulties, the studio was eventually forced to cancel the project. The full story involves Master of the Universe, Superman, multiple directors, Tom Cruise, and more! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
