Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More)

Saturday Island (released in the U.S. as "Island of Desire"), the 1952 Stuart Heisler English South-Seas tropical island romantic adventure melodrama ("A South-Seas Shangri-La of romance and adventure..."; "Beyond Your Wildest Dreams!"; "Two men and the woman they both want - marooned on a hurricane swept tropical island"; based on the novel by Hugh Brooke) starring Linda Darnell, Tab Hunter (extremely young and billed as "The Screen's sensational new 'Sigh-Guy'"), Donald Gray, John Laurie, and Sheila Chong. Note that first release poster material from England, the country of origin, is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned one English first release item of any kind (although we have auctioned the Australian daybill and an Australian trade ad, both of which had the "Saturday Island" title).
