An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Coney Island, the 1943 Walter Lang Brooklyn New York City romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Sizzling... spectacle-songs-romance in the swellest musical ever!!"; set in the famous New York City Brooklyn summer amusement park and beach, which is currently being renovated and will return to its former glory!; about best friends who work at a nightclub, and about the beautiful dancer who comes between them) starring Betty Grable, George Montgomery, Cesar Romero, Charles Winninger, Phil Silvers, and Paul Hurst. Note that Betty Grable obviously really loved this movie because she remade it just seven years later as Wabash Avenue! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and a few tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on small parts of some folds. It had pinholes in the corners and in the center of the top border, and it had paper loss in the top left corner, caused by rough removal of the pins. That paper loss entered into the "B" of "Betty". Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
