What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster originally had blank borders that were trimmed off. It was never folded, but it has light stains in the entire upper center of the poster, but fortunately, they are most noticeable only in the center near the girl's waist. There are tears around the edges, with paper loss in the bottom corners. There has been amateur restoration in both of the girl's shoes and the area by them. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster as is onto a thin linen with only slight amateur restoration (see our image).
