An Original Vintage Movie Studio Yearbook (measures 6 1/4" x 9 1/4"; 119 pages) (Learn More)

Who's Who at Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, the 1939 book from MGM that served as a complete guide to their actors (divided into "stars" and "featured players") and directors. At this time, MGM was the number one studio in Hollywood, and they were justifiably proud of their incredible line-up of actors and directors, so they created this yearbook ("A Reference Book from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures"), where each actor received a 1-page biography with their image, and the same was done for the directors as well. Note that we have seen these yearbooks, one from 1937, 1938, 1939, and 1944. There may well have been other years as well (one would think there were surely ones from 1940 to 1943, but who knows for sure?). If anyone knows more about these, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The top right corner of the book became lightly water stained. Some of the interior pages have light water stains in that area, but none are stuck together. The cover and first interior page have scattered stains, and the cover has faded unevenly.
