An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Terror at Midnight (released in other English-speaking countries as "And Suddenly You Run"), the 1956 Franklin Adreon romantic car-theft crime film noir thriller ("Story by John K. Butler and Irving Shulman"; about a woman who thinks she killed a man in a car accident, but actually, it was all a fake, set up by a gang of car thieves, but luckily, her boyfriend is a tough detective, and he saves the day!) starring Scott Brady, Joan Vohs, Frank Faylen, John Dehner, Virginia Gregg, and Kem Dibbs NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had creases, tiny tears, and some tiny paper loss on some foldlines. There was a 1/4" x 1/2" rectangle of paper loss in the inset image at bottom right. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the restorer did not replace the tiny missing area in the lower right (although any talented restorer could restore that area without re-backing the poster).
