An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" Movie Still (Learn More) Rudyard Kipling's The Light That Failed, the 1939 William A. Wellman England artist-going-blind tragic romantic melodrama ("Ronald Colman in Rudyard Kipling's famous story of heroism, love and high adventure!"; "Screen play by Robert Carson"; "A great picture surges from the pages of Kipling's mighty story"; "Based on the novel by Rudyard Kipling"; about an artist who needs to complete his masterpiece before he goes blind!) starring Ronald Colman, Walter Huston, Ida Lupino, Muriel Angelus, and Dudley Digges NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the still shows a great candid image of director William Wellman going over a scene with Walter Huston, and both of them seem quite tickled over what they are reading. Also note that there is information about the still printed on the back. The still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2", but it does not appear to be trimmed. There is a stamp on the back of the still that reads, "CREDIT WILL BE APPRECIATED PARAMOUNT PHOTO BY HAL A. McALPIN". Condition: very good. There are tiny creases in the corners. There are a very few faint emulsion scuffs scattered around the edges of the still, but they are truthfully not at all noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light.
