If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had paper loss at the bottom crossfold and smaller paper loss at the middle crossfold, with some small areas of paper loss in the top quarter of the vertical fold and a lesser amount on other folds. It also had many small areas of paper loss and tears around the edges and the entire poster had darkened. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. Someone glued the poster to a very thin linen and made the most amateurish attempt at restoration at the bottom crossfold, but otherwise did no restoration, and they also did not glue the poster correctly, as there are areas that are "lifting" in the upper right corner, and also, the poster is separating from the linen around the edges. Obviously, this poster should immediately be removed from the old linen and properly backed, but bear in mind its many defects and the expense of re-restoring it before bidding on it.
