An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 11 1/2" x 15 1/2" [29 x 39 cm]; 27 pages) (Learn More)

Paramount 1979-80, the 1979 spiral-bound Paramount campaign book ("Paramount is the Word") featuring 26 pages of movie information, including cast listings and concept poster art, for films in production at the time. Some of the films listed include The Harold and Maude, Warriors, Escape From Alcatraz, Grease, American Gigolo, Star Trek (a really cool 2-page ad), and many more. Note that while some of the ads are similar or the same as that of the finished one-sheet movie poster, most of the ads have completely different art, most of which we have never ever seen before (including Steve McQueen in "The Hunter", Flash Gordon, Star Trek, American Gigolo, and Escape from Alcatraz)! Note that it was at this time that studios were greatly cutting back on the quality of their campaign books, but Paramount did an especially nice job this year (likely because they realized they had a lot of really excellent movies!).

Condition: very good. The campaign book is spiral bound and there is minor wear around the edges, but otherwise, it is in pretty nice condition!
