Important Added Info: Note that I have never seen this poster before! I have sold a relatively huge amount of material from King Kong over the past 17 years (including both styles of three-sheet from the first release, as well as most other first release material), and a large amount of material from its many re-releases. The paper I have seen from this 1956 re-release has been somewhat disappointing, with a lack of color, and images taken from earlier releases. But this great half-sheet has a really cool full color image that is similar to (but not identical to) that of the original six-sheet, and with really cool vivid colors!

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was folded with the usual horizontal and vertical folds. There is the tiniest of paper loss at the crossfold and some minor creasing along both foldlines. There are several pairs of tiny staple holes in each corner and a pair in the upper left is in the image background, but the others are in the blank borders. Other than the above truly minor defects, the poster is in quite nice condition! The poster is 100% completely unrestored, and no one ever put a single piece of tape on the front or the back of the poster. I can't imagine that there are many examples of this poster surviving, and I would imagine that most other surviving examples would surely either be in lesser condition, have been backed, or at least have had some degree of partial restoration (like tape on the back). I envy the person who gets to purchase this really cool poster!
