An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) The Girl From Montmartre, the 1926 Alfred E. Green silent World War I (WWI) France/Spanish romantic love triangle melodrama ("Adapted from Anthony Pryde's novel 'Spanish Sunlight'"; about the daughter of a noble but poor Spanish family who takes a job in a Paris cafe during World War I, and later, back in Spain, she has multiple suitors, and she dances in a low class bar, but everything works out in the end) starring Barbara La Marr (as Emilia Faneaux; in her final movie role), Lewis Stone, Robert Ellis, William Eugene, and E.H. Calvert. Note that Barbara La Marr passed away from tuberculosis a day before this film was released. She was 29 years old. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
