An Unfolded Danish Travel Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 39 1/4" [62 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) SAS: Africa, the 1950s Danish airline aviation airplane travel poster ("Africa by SAS") encouraging travelers to use Scandinavian Airlines System when visiting Africa. In the 1950s SAS made a series of wonderful wildlife travel posters, each featuring great artwork of different native African wildlife by Otto Nielsen. In the 1960s SAS made more of these wonderful posters, again with Otto Nielsen art. Artist: Otto Nielsen Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has creases and tiny tears in parts of the borders. It has a 1 1/2" tear in the center of the top border that was repaired with tape from the back. It has small paper loss in the upper right border (see our image). It has creases in the bottom green area, with a small brown stain near the center of it. It has a few other small tape repairs on the back and a brown stain in the bottom left corner. Learn More about condition grades
