Date Sold 9/20/2015Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 2 fan scrapbooks of movie newspaper ads from 1940 to 1950 (the two scrapbooks contain a total of 84 "extra large" ads between them). A dedicated film buff cut out ads from many magazines and put them in plastic sleeves in nice binders (see our images). Note that the Citizen Kane ad from 1941 shows that it was marketed in a most unusual way! The movie is presented like a tawdry romance, with the tagline "How much love can you buy for $60,000,000?"! Measurements: 9 1/2" x 11 1/2"Condition: very good. The ads were cut out of newspapers, but are otherwise in pretty nice condition, and they are well presented in this scrapbook!
