Artist: Al Hirschfeld

Condition: fair. The poster had paper loss in the middle of the left border, and someone taped a piece of white paper to the front and back of that area, and crudely colored in the missing red background. The poster was separated on large parts of some foldlines. There was a diagonal tear in the top center of the poster and tears in the left of the bottom border. Someone put a great deal of paper tape on the back of the poster which has stiffened, and would make the poster very hard to fold. The poster is in urgent need of expert professional restoration, and after a proper linenbacking, the poster will display pretty well, but it will require some paint restoration. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept that it is in much lesser condition, and have carefully studied our super-sized image.
