He is best remembered for playing Sulu in TV's "Star Trek". Some of his other roles include: The Green Berets and TV's "Heroes". He has one of the most "liked" pages on Facebook, known for its incredibly witty posts! As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 84! Important Added Info: Note that this animation cel has been personally autographed (signed) by George Takei! Our consignor is a longtime movie poster dealer who purchased a very large collection of rolled movie posters, and included were some with autographs. He does not know how the autographs were obtained, but he thinks it is likely that the signature on this poster is authentic, but he does not have a "certificate of authenticity". Condition: very good. The cel, which is in two layers (one with the head and one with the body) is in nice condition, but they were once attached to each other and no longer are (the bottom cel is attached to the background, but the top cel is detached, although it could certainly be re-attached).
