An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More)

Storm Center, the 1956 Daniel Taradash political controversial-beliefs library melodrama ("Long awaited event!"; "Bette Davis hits the screen in a cyclone of dramatic fury!"; "In all the years no picture has said This!"; "The lighting of this match... sets the screen ablaze with passions it never dared present like this before!"; "Story and Screen Play by Daniel Taradash and Elick Moll"; about a small-town librarian who gets accused of being a Communist because she won't take a book off the shelves) starring Bette Davis, Brian Keith, Kim Hunter, Paul Kelly, and Kevin Coughlin

Artist: Saul Bass
Important Added Info: Note that only one of the two half-sheets, the window card, and this six-sheet use this poster design exactly as Saul Bass designed it! Most of the other posters for this movie use a portion of this Saul Bass design, but (as often happened with posters Bass designed) the studio chose to "improve" on what he created, and it results in posters that have a somewhat bland overall effect. But this six-sheet has the full original Saul Bass design (basically, completely unaltered by the studio!). We have auctioned several of the half-sheets, but never before have we auctioned this six-sheet. Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of several foldlines and in small parts of the borders.
